WRITING SCREENPLAYS THAT SELL
(free online workshop)
Do you have a great idea for your first screenplay, but don’t know how to begin? Have you written screenplays before, but want to take your writing to the next level? Either way, this workshop is for you!
Former co-chair of UCLA's screenwriting program, Hal Ackerman will talk talk about the art of story structure, substance, and style, while offering a treasure trove of information on the writing of quality, scaleable screenplays and television scripts. You will come away from this talk with new found confidence and direction to tackle the script you have been longing to write.
Hal has sold original material to all the major studio and networks and is the author of "Write Screenplays That Sell: The Ackerman Way". Among the scripts written by Hal's students are A Walk On The Moon, The Machinist, Hitchcock; and TV shows Better Call Saul, The Tick, South Park, Gossip Girl, Soul Food, and many, many others.
